Bahia state is home to diverse little slices of paradise, one being the picturesque city of Itacaré, until not so long ago a quiet fishing village. Aside from more than 20 beaches, Itacaré also boasts tranquil rivers, waterfalls and a huge Atlantic Rainforest reserve. Considered one of the richest combined ecosystems, it was elevated to the category of Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and today is one of the three major conservation priorities in the world.
Guests will discover there is more to this charming village of Itacaré than forest: its coast is a succession of beaches with crystalline water and deep blue sea bordered by lush forested hills. The semi-deserted beaches, some rustic without almost any infrastructure, are perfect for getting in touch with nature, good weather and outstanding natural beauty.
